Tossing in the Gloves of Defeat

How many times have you tossed in the gloves? It all looks pretty much the same, you keep going around in circles or that is what you think is happening. Really you are becoming stronger and with each knock out you have been learning another trick. You have become bolder, smarter and deep down inside of you there is a part of you that knows you are stronger than anything that will come up against you.
You have the memories, the tragic love stories and rage that seem to be eating away at you. Maybe it is time that you take a break and take off those fighting gloves and start being gentle with yourself and really ask yourself some hard questions.
Do you know what you really want?
Do you really think you will be happy when you get it?
What will you do when you have what you want?
How long will you be happy with what you have wanted for so long?
Will you be back out there swinging and going now where?
or
Have you got a plan?
Do you have a community of women who keep you accountable
Will you start taking better care of yourself physically, mentally and spiritually
Can you start loving yourself as much as you do your best friend
Are you ready to let go of all the anger and forgive yourself
then
Create a sacred space for yourself
Start journaling, blogging or find tangible way of expressing yourself
Connect with someone at least once a week-they need you as much as you do
Get the sleep, drink the water, eat one vegetarian meal a day, start walking
Meditate, breathe, pray and acknowledge the great gift of life you have been given.
